Après un teasing façon puzzle, voici l’annonce officielle du set LEGO Minecraft 21137 The Mountain Cave (« La Mine » en français) qui sera disponible le 1er juillet 2017 en LEGO Store et sur le Shop@Home, avec une commercialisation anticipée dès le 15 juin prochain pour les membres du programme LEGO VIP (c’était donc bien lui le fameux set mystère de mi-juin !).
Avec 2863 pièces pour 249,99€ en Allemagne et pour 269,99€ en France, ce set devient donc officiellement le plus gros set LEGO Minecraft jamais sorti, (très) loin devant le set LEGO Minecraft 21128 The Village et ses 1600 pièces pour 219,99€.
Le set contient une flopée de personnages tirés de l’univers Minecraft : Steve, Alex, un zombie, un squelette, un Creeper, un enderman, ainsi qu’une araignée, un loup et son louveteau, deux chauves-souris, un mouton, et un slime avec deux petits slimes. J’avoue ma complète ignorance sur ce sujet, peut-être que ça vous parle davantage qu’à moi.
Je suis assez agréablement surpris par le visuel : même si je n’adhère pas au concept basique de la gamme Minecraft, LEGO a réussi à première vue à proposer un set massif. Quand on parle de montagne, c’est mieux et cela change des habituels tas de briques ou assemblages de métapièces ridicules qui ressemblent davantage à un tas de cailloux (le volcan du dernier thème LEGO City était à mourir de rire par exemple…). Après, cela reste du Minecraft : ceux qui aiment la gamme aimeront probablement le set, et les autres détesteront !
Si la construction ne devrait pas réserver d’énormes surprises puisqu’il s’agira principalement de plus de 3 kg de briques à empiler, LEGO a essayé de proposer un concept modulaire avec trois principaux modèles et en prime quelques play features et une brique lumineuse que nous pouvons découvrir au verso de la boite (ci-dessus).
